Project Overview

Vertex Industrial Projects has successfully completed Phase One of a major industrial dismantling and site clearance programme in Maribor, Slovenia, supporting EAE Solutions B.V. in the delivery of a wider capital investment project.

The first phase involved the coordinated dismantling and removal of redundant industrial equipment, associated infrastructure and materials across multiple designated areas of the facility, preparing the site for subsequent stages of development.

A total of 221 tonnes of material was removed, with six designated areas cleared and signed off, marking the successful completion of the initial phase.

Working closely with EAE Solutions and the client's operations and engineering teams, Vertex managed the first-phase removal works, coordinating dismantling sequences, site access, material movements and area handovers to ensure alignment with the wider project programme.

Scope of Work

Project Planning & Site Coordination

The delivery of a multi-area industrial dismantling programme required detailed planning and continuous coordination with the wider project team. Vertex managed the sequencing of first-phase removal activities, coordinating access, resources and work areas to maintain progress while accommodating the operational requirements of the facility and subsequent project stages.

Industrial Dismantling & Equipment Removal

Vertex coordinated the systematic dismantling and removal of redundant industrial equipment and associated infrastructure across the designated work areas. Activities were carefully sequenced around site constraints, equipment isolations and available access, ensuring each area was progressively cleared in preparation for its next intended use.

Material Handling & Removal

The project involved the removal of 221 tonnes of material from the facility. Vertex coordinated material handling, movements and removal activities, managing the logistical challenges associated with clearing substantial quantities of industrial material across multiple work areas.

Multi-Area Management & Progressive Handovers

With several areas forming part of the first-phase programme, work activities were coordinated to support progressive completion and handover. Six designated areas were successfully cleared and signed off, releasing space for subsequent works and supporting continuity across the wider capital project.

Client & Contractor Interface Management

Vertex worked in close collaboration with EAE Solutions B.V., the client's operations and engineering teams and the site crews responsible for executing the works. Clear responsibilities, daily coordination and effective communication were central to managing interfaces between activities and maintaining alignment with the overall programme.
