2004 / 2007 Krones Complete aseptic PET bottling and packaging line

Overview

Complete aseptic PET bottling and packaging line designed for the production of still, sensitive beverages requiring aseptic processing and filling.

The line combines a Tetra Pak UHT sterilisation and aseptic processing system with a Krones PET-Asept filling block, providing an integrated solution from product sterilisation and aseptic buffering through to filling, inspection, packaging and finished pallet handling.

Product is sterilised through a Tetra Therm Aseptic Drink UHT system, transferred to a 5,673 litre Tetra Alsafe aseptic buffer tank, and subsequently filled using the Krones PET-Asept system.

The dry end includes Krones inspection and conveying equipment, multipack shrink wrapping and tray packing, a Krones Pressant palletiser and automatic ring stretch wrapping.

The line has also benefited from significant investment, with new Krones inspection equipment, control panels and coding equipment installed in 2020.
